Marine debris is everyone’s problem, not just a problem for those people living or working on the oceans. It is a problem that we can solve together by making smart and sustainable choices in our everyday lives. Marine Debris is found worldwide and while we all contribute to this global problem we can all help with even the smallest of actions.
My project aim is to raise community awareness of the many negative impacts of plastic waste and to motivate people to take action and for them in turn to convince people they meet to call for action to clean up and to help keep our oceans clean and debris free and to reduce the use of non-biodegradable disposable plastic products. By working together, we can help drive change and work towards a clean, healthy ocean for everyone.
